BOLOGNA BIKE TOUR
The Bologna that I will tell you about on this private bike tour is a city that has ancient origins, guardian of an exceptional historical, artistic and cultural heritage. A city with a thousand faces and riding a bicycle we can move away from the historic center to discover together some of the faces that characterize it.
We will start from Via dell'Indipendenza to discover one of the most important avenues that connects the old city to the station and the modern part, here we will also see leftovers from the ancient medieval walls and the Porta Galliera. After this start we will discover some points that will allow me to tell the story of the Bologna of the waters and the canals, seeing for example the Canale Cavaticcio and the Navile, the ancient commercial port of the city, which connected Bologna to Venice as early as 1500!
From here we will slowly approach the historic center, talking about the city of towers and arcades, admiring wonderful historic buildings made of terracotta bricks and before reaching Piazza Maggiore we will cross the narrow alleys of the ancient Jewish ghetto.
We will end the tour by talking about two very important places of worship such as the Church of San Domenico and the Complex of Santo Stefano and on the way back we will see in Via Piella another track of an open waterway.

Bologna is by definition a city of cultural and social avant-garde . It is no coincidence that the most famous writers and street artists in the country have left a mark of their art right here, on the walls of the historic center and the suburbs of Bologna.
With this private bike tour I will take you to discover some of the best examples of street art in Bologna.
The tour itinerary will take you outside the classic tourist circuits to discover the true soul of post-industrial Bologna. Along the cycle paths that line the city we will pass from the western to the eastern suburbs, finally returning to the historic center to observe the best of graffiti and posters. Today these works of art are admired for their ability to break the greyness of everyday life and transform urban spaces into open-air museums.
Some artists we will see are: Daem, Eron, Does, Cuoghi & Corsello, Alice Pasquini, Hitnes, Levalet, Joys, Rusty and Andreco.
The tour rate to be agreed and booked at least 48 hours in advance includes bicycle rental, helmet (if required),is subjected to the availability of bikes from the rental.
