BOLOGNA VESPA TOUR
You have little time available, but don't want to give up visiting the famous Bolognese hills? Then this tour is the one for you!
Get ready to go up and down among gentle hills surrounded by the nature in a wonderful landscape just a few minutes from the city.
On this tour lasting about 3 hours in total we will leave the fascinating historic center of Bologna behind us to reach the lush hills: an itinerary to discover the most suggestive and representative places.
As a first stop we will stop in the complex of San Michele in Bosco, from which you have a panoramic view of Bologna, we will continue visiting the Hermitage of Ronzano and its small church of Romanesque origins where we will appreciate the silence and beauty of the characteristic nature of the hills ; then we will go up to a very high point, towards the Sabbiuno Shrine, a place of remembrance and finally the Sanctuary of the Madonna di San Luca , one of the symbols of the city and where the longest portico in the world ends.
The itinerary described above refers to the half day tour, but we can also offer a full day tour, with extension to the territory of Sasso Marconi and visit of the suggestive Palazzo de 'Rossi and possibly stop for lunch with typical products in a restaurant of hill or picnic basket and stop for a break in a meadow in the nature reserve.
We are also developing new itineraries that include a visit to an important local butcher who produces the real Bologna mortadella with a totally artisanal method and flat itineraries.
