WINE ON THE CAMINO - Destination Santiago

WINE ON THE CAMINO - DESTINATION SANTIAGO

When and how does a passion for wine begin? And how far can it take you? In this sense, Francesco, a tourist guide from Emilia-Romagna, Northern Italy, with experience in food and wine tasting, decides to take a walk to Santiago de Compostela, following an intuition born almost by chance in front of a bottle of wine.

He will discover, step by step, that the famous Pilgrimage is truly a mine of unique stories and characters woven into the landscape of an ancient Spain. And above all, that on both sides of the Camino live skilled winemakers capable of making fascinating, handcrafted wines, driven by a choice to return to nature.

A ROMAGNA WINE TALE - Stories, Routes and Interviews about an Ancestral Wine

"A Romagna Wine Tale is not just a book about wine, it is a real journey to discover a territory with incredible stories. A book that makes you want to get to know the characters you meet page by page, a book about a world that seems far away but is actually -and fortunately- just around the corner. You just need someone to make you discover it, and Francesco Antonelli succeeds very well".

THE GREAT RECORRIDO

THE GREAT RECORRIDO - Travel and Tasting on the Slopes of the Andes

What is a former computer consultant doing in a grungy van on the outskirts of Lima, sipping Pisco with the people of the neighborhood? Or even in Mendoza and Santiago to taste the wines of the best wineries in South America?

The answer is simple and complex at the same time. He is looking for a new beginning, a new energy that will make sense of his own life, starting from his favorite sense: taste.

From Bologna, Italy, Francesco Antonelli is a wine lover who left everything behind to live the dream of traveling, writing and tasting.
